You can cancel a driving lesson for any reason with no fee as long as you give us 24 hours notice. Cancelling a 60 minute lesson with less than 24 hours notice results in a $20 cancellation fee.
*If you lost or misplaced your learner’s permit, you can download and print a new one from the registry’s website instead of cancelling your lesson. Use the following link or Google “replace my permit MA” – https://www.mass.gov/how-to/replace-your-class-d-m-or-commercial-learners-permit-clp.
Notes:
There is no fee for cancelling due to illness. A 2-week rescheduling ban applies, in order to wait out the incubation period.
There is no fee for a family emergency. A parent must phone the office between 11am-4pm weekdays to inform us that there was a family emergency.
